The Egyptians are the masters of economy and cheap defence: they train a very large defensive army at a low price, and get more from oases than any other tribe.
Strengths
- Slave Militia: the cheapest unit in the game (150 resources) and the fastest to train – defence in numbers.
- Waterworks (Egyptians only): every level raises the bonus of each annexed oasis by 5% – at level 20 the oases' bonus is doubled.
- Stone Wall: +3% defence per level – the most in the game (together with the Romans).
Special units
- Slave Militia – cheap defence, quick to train.
- Anhur Guard – fast cavalry defence (15), strong against infantry (110).
- Resheph Chariot – heavy cavalry that defends very well against cavalry (150) and infantry (120), and attacks too (110).
Weaknesses
- Relatively weak attack: no strong, cheap attacking unit.
