VALORIA

Economy

The economy is the heart of Valoria: whoever produces more builds faster, trains a bigger army and lasts to the end of the round. Every number here is at speed x1; in a fast world, production is multiplied by the speed.

The fields

  • Every village has 22 resource fields – wood, clay, iron and crop.
  • Village types: balanced (5 wood / 5 clay / 5 iron / 7 crop), villages rich in wood, clay or iron (6/5/4/7 in different orders), a 13-crop village (3/3/3/13) and a 22-crop village (0/0/0/22) – the place for a huge army.
  • One field's production per hour: 7 at level 1, 280 at level 10 and 3,430 at level 20.
  • In the capital, fields go up to level 20; in other villages – up to 10. So choose your capital's spot well.

Warehouse and granary

  • Warehouse and granary hold 1,200 at level 1, 11,800 at level 10 and 80,000 at level 20. The great warehouse and great granary – 3 times as much.
  • What does not fit is lost. Upgrade them in time.
  • The cranny hides 200 of each resource at level 1, up to 2,000 at level 10 – an attacker cannot take that.

Production bonuses

  • Oases: the hero's mansion lets you annex an oasis within 5 tiles – the first at level 5, one more at levels 10, 15 and 20 (up to 4). Each oasis adds 25% or 50% to its resource, up to 200% per resource.
  • Resource complex: +2.5% to the wood, clay and iron of the fields per level (25% at level 10).
  • Agricultural complex: +3.33% to the crop of the fields per level (50% at level 15).
  • The hero can produce resources instead of fighting.
  • Relics at the end of the round can add production and storage.

Crop and upkeep

Every inhabitant eats one crop an hour, and every unit eats according to its type. Upkeep does not grow with the world's speed – only production does. When net crop is negative and the granary runs empty, units starve. Reinforcements standing in someone else's village eat from the village they defend.

The tribes' special buildings

  • Egyptians – Waterworks: every level raises each annexed oasis's bonus by 5% (doubled at level 20).
  • Romans – Horse Drinking Trough: cavalry trains faster, and from levels 10, 15 and 20 three kinds of cavalry eat one crop less.
  • Teutons – Brewery: +1% attack per level during the festival, for every attack of the account.

Trade

  • Merchants move resources between villages. How much a merchant carries depends on the tribe and the world's speed, and the trade office adds 10% per level.
  • Trade routes: merchants that leave by themselves, at set times, to your own village or an alliance member's.
  • The marketplace: offers between players.
  • Resource trade: for one gold coin, the village's resources are redistributed – exactly what the action needs. The total never drops.

What is special about Valoria

  • 22 fields in every village, and seven tribes with a building of their own each.
  • Oases up to 200% per resource, and animals that return to them slowly – oases matter the whole round.
  • Resource complexes instead of a row of small production buildings.
  • Hospitals: some of the soldiers who fall in battle are wounded, and can be healed.
  • Grey Valorian villages on the map – they can be raided the whole round.
  • Relics with bonuses drawn every day, and crown villages where units eat half and the storage is enormous.
